Dear fanfic writers everywhere,

While I admire the whole "sound it out" approach to reading, please don't use the same method for spelling. Regardless of how it sounds, "disintegrated" is not spelled "decintergrated." There is a spell check: use it, embrace it, and love it.

LOL. What I love most is when the get the names of major characters wrong. They MUST be screwing with us, right? No one could not care that much about something they're putting out there in public?

Sometimes I think they're screwing with us, but then there are moments when there's so MUCH bad!fic that I think maybe we're the insane ones. Maybe the whole world is upside down! How can we stand a chance against their numbers??

I'm a teacher and that's how a lot of the little ones write. You have to sound out the letters to even have an inkling of what they are trying to say. It's kind of like a game. :)
