Someone to Watch Over Me...
Holy frak. My fic came true?? Wtf?!? Detritus was my first BSG fic and it freakin' came true, for the most part, anyways.
Kind of in shock.
Meanwhile,
Ah, totally called piano player dude being Kara's dad and OMG could i love her more? Nope. Just seeing her with Hera made my heart melt. Looks like there could be more truth to Kara being the original hybrid, maybe? Why aren't the final five more concerned with the fact that Kara's dad taught her the song rather than just Hera knowing it? 'Cause we all know Hera's full of mystical wonder, but I NEED ANSWERS ABOUT KARA, DAMN IT. The Final Five seem rather useless, except poor Sam, who broke my heart. Just seeing Kara sit with him, and how protective Cottle was of her, when all the Cylons were just speculating and being rather annoying about the whole thing... Sigh.
Almost made up for the whole horrible Boomer thing and Chief once again being a complete and utter idiot and calling forth the destruction of the Galactica and the survivors of both the humans and Cylons. Almost. Hee. Seriously, though, I was just starting to like the Chief again and then bam! Idiot behavior ahoy! Frankly, Boomer's always freaked me out (and Grace Park, you're lovely but really really really skinny and it kind of freaks me out to see your rib cage so please don't get shirtless again, and go with TH and eat a sandwich, mmkay?), but seeing her take down Athena just pissed me off, which is odd since normally I don't care much about Athena. I'm rather ambivalent about her, but again, the whole "each one is replaceable" thing freaks me out, especially since Helo can't tell them apart nor can any other Cylon, but the Chief can? Seriosuly?
But putting Hera in a suitcase?!? The poor girl. Also, if the hair person could step away from the curling iron, that'd also be good, because Hera looks like Shirley Temple on steroids. We get it, she's an innocent cherub. No need to sell us on the fact.
Okay, I'm jumping out of the shallow end now. Hee. But people, what does it mean that Kara has a head!daddy?!? Seriously, is she just a hybrid? The original child between Cylon and human? What does that mean? Is she gonna be the one to hunt down Hera? (Btw, KS was adorable when she was with Hera. And I love Kara/Helo friendship. Gets me every time. He's totally her BFF and vice versa.)
Seriously, I love the whole Kara thing, but I'm really worried about where this is going, and we're not even going to mention Roslin passing out when Hera disappeared. Oy.
And meanwhile, somewhere on Galactica, Baltar is in possession of a lot of guns. A LOT of guns. Somebody should give Lee a gun so he has something to do. I'm not even that big of a fan of the boy, but when I find his presence lacking? Then he seriously needs a storyline.
Kind of in shock.
