How is it just a glimpse of "200" makes me want to gush over my team? SG-1 always makes me all mushy... and I'm a total sap for admitting this, but the Sam/Jack wedding? So cute. It's just fun... and I can only imagine how funny it'd be to film it (and seriously, Amanda Tapping? Gorgeous in that dress.).
Moving on to BSG...
SHE'S CARRYING AROUND THE BULLET. Oh Kara! And seeing her in a Viper, albeit for like 30 seconds? Made it worthwhile. Otherwise the ep didn't do much for me, it felt like a logical step in the progression of the storyline, but not terribly exciting. Although at one point I was ready to hit Tory (yes, a fictional character) in case she decided to try to abduct Sam. No way. Especially when he might wake! Woo.
People, I can't take the Caprica wig seriously. If I was on the show, I'd keep tugging at it. It distracts me whenever she's in a scene, even if it's background as one of the other Sixes. It's like it's own character! "The Adventures of the Wig and Eyepatch!" Dun dun dun!
Btw, is it weird that I liked Saul and Ellen together, even when I used to get grossed out by them? I still get a little grossed out, but it's mostly "Aw, they're both so nuts they deserve each other" type of thing, now.
Also, Michael Hogan plays a far better alcoholic than EJO. I wish they would stop showing Adama as the drunk, becauses EJO just ramps it up and it gets so irritating. The man likes to play it big. The only scene with him that I particularly enjoyed was the end, where Tigh comes to Adama about the death of his son, and they mention Zac... remember him?!? Phew. Also, the Cylon wall of rememberence amuses me because... how do they tell each other apart?
And while I'm glad Boomer helped Ellen escape (seriously awesome dress, btw, Ellen... but why would Saul have your clothes and everything anyways since you all were living on New Caprica and he had to leave in a hurry... and also, you slept with your own child which is also creepy, but I guess you didn't know who he was at the time.), I don't care much about Boomer/Chief. Though I am surprised that the Chief wanted to leave Galactica...
last but not least, giving Baltar guns? Bad idea. Didn't we just deal with a mutiny? Why not send the marines to deal with the Sons of Ares?
