NOOOO not again

I need help. I'm being all attracted by another bright and shiny fandom...

yes, I love The Office. 


Okay, so yes, I watched the occasional episode before and enjoyed it (umm, hi, an ep about Diwali? Are you insane? That's awesome.), and caught the last two eps of last season, so I thought I'd try watching this season... and phew.

So for everyone who knows way more about SG-1/SGA than me... umm, a couple of quick questions:

How did the replicators evolve in the Pegasus galaxy? 'Cause I'm guessing they weren't the toys of Reese, since they interacted with/were once programmed by the Ancients. And how do they use Ancient tech when they don't have the gene?

Also, why are they so boring compared to the Replicators from SG-1, whom I love? 

ETA: Jacob Carter is on House. Fandoms collide! Also? Cameron's hair looks like crap. And she's annoying! Shocking all around, no?
